I just watched the press conference and there were 24 children on the bus between the ages of 7 and 17. The bus pulled up in front of the student's house to pick him up when he allegedly shot the driver and killed her. They had apparently had an argument the day before. He is 14. She was 47 with two kids, ages 11 and 13. Dover is a little bitty town, one of the most unlikely places to see this kind of crime...if there is such a place. Everyone is quite shaken by it.

Also, she was a teacher's aide until two years ago when she started driving the bus. My guess is her job got swept away in the new administration's budget cuts. A lot of small counties have had a hard time with those cuts. Looks like this one might have cost this woman her life. Very sad.
