I don't think it could possibly be Gillum. Her "circumstances" section says, "**Partial remains belonging to Niani were found northeast of Fountain Hills, AZ in 2005**".

Someone to look into:
Ashley Tyronda Norah https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/9345/20/

Persuasive factors:
1) She went missing at 17, falling in the age range on NamUs.
2) She was 61 inches tall as compared to our Doe, but that number may have been on school records, a learner's permit, and she had grown since then.
3) She matches all of the basic identifiers, having black/brown hair, having a weave in her photos, and being African-American.

If Ashley had died immediately, it would be too long of a time frame, but considering there are no details on the finer points of her disappearance, it might be worth a look. She had to get to Tennessee if nothing else, and we've all heard stories of runaways, with friends, lovers, or alone, who then meet foul play.

Does anyone think it's compelling? I'm just getting started and trying to go off of data as I'm really just terrible at visually comparing people.

watergirl62, thanks for pointing that out. I have heard of people removing them without medical help, but it seems there wouldn't be any sign of that on the skull

Fairlyn looks visually similar.

I had to google... wow, there are many youtube videos about how to take your own braces off. I learn so much here.

Could this be Cleashindra Denise Hall

http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/1056dfar.html

Things that make me think she might be a match

They look alike

The age and time frame match

They both have a chipped front tooth

Things that makes her not a match

Cleashindra Is four inches shorter than the UID

She has a scar on her right knee

She has pierced ears

Scars and pierced ears are irrelevant with skeletal remains; there's no way to tell what the unidentified woman had.

This is where I get hung up: I think Cleashindra has some pretty nice teeth. Our UID has extremely protruding front teeth (almost horizontal). That is pretty distinctive, IMO.

Is there anyway that this description is not a reflection of her natural adult teeth? If I had teeth like our UID, I might be self-conscious and not smile as readily as other people? I don't know... I have stared at many teeth looking for her, and excluded several missing persons on this criteria.

I am pretty new to the unidentified forum. Please correct me if I am misreading this.

No, that looks like what I'm seeing.

alawaysslueth it would be amazing it it was Clea, but based on the facts surrounding her case, I'm fairly convinced she was deceased the day she disappeared or very quickly after. If she went missing in 1994, the UID they found had only beed dead for what, 8 months in 2002?

I'm new to this, but isn't that too wide a range to consider?

If it's not, I need to know so I can expand out the searching I was doing. I was trying to stick within a couple of years of the discovery date. Definitely absolutely not trying to step on any toes, just want to be as helpful as possible.
