GUILTY Australia - Douglas, 69, & John Streeter, 67, slain, Natte Yallock, Vic, 14 Mar 2013

Thanks for this thread.

There doesn't seem to be much in MSM about it.

I can't get my head around it all, it's so sad :( I wonder what led to the murders?

And why did he leave between the murders? We're both men there when the first murder occurred? If so, how come the other didn't flee or call for help? Was he tied up? I guess it's looking like being about money...

A shearer who claims to have no memory of murdering his father and uncle at the family sheep farm in central Victoria has been jailed for 34 years.

Supreme Court Justice Lex Lasry described the murders of Ross Streeter's father and uncle as "an extraordinary case" given he appeared to have had no motive...

Streeter, 31, pleaded guilty to murdering his father, Douglas, and uncle, John, on March 14 last year at the family's 1600ha Natte Yallock sheep farm, near Avoca, 200 kilometres north-west of Melbourne.
