POLICE are hunting a "highly dangerous'' tattooed man they believe could help with their investigation into a mother's body found stuffed in a car boot last week.

The body of 41-year-old Linda Stevens was found stabbed repeatedly in the boot of her white 2003-model Kia Rio sedan, which had been dumped in bushland off Foothills Rd at Corrimal, near Wollongong, shortly before 7.30pm last Thursday.

Here we go again - another one not locked up when he should have been. Another woman and mother dead. What a disgrace our justice system has become, Australia wide.

I wonder if it's the same woman, the earlier article mentioned a son :(

two years earlier...

A man accused of threatening a woman and her son while armed with a 30cm knife has been refused bail in Wollongong Local Court. Police said Colin Maxwell Farrow, 37, of Church St, Wollongong, had twice threatened the woman in the two weeks leading up to the incident, once via text message, and the other time when he saw her in the street.http://www.illawarramercury.com.au/story/634130/man-held-for-knife-threat/

I think it may well have been the same woman. The article mentions a second storey balcony of her home (which the current lady had) and also a woman and her son, so it is a high likelihood that it has been a ongoing situation which escalated to a murder, and another child now left motherless. MOO

Was this lady involved in derby? I will share the link with our derby group, also in NSW.

Yep Mel, she was with WIRD.

Not that this will mean anything for those that don't know derby, but Jerry Seltzer has commented on the the page. He said that her story had spread across the worldwide derby community. It was so lovely of him to comment.
For those that don't know derby, Jerry's dad started roller derby 100 years ago and Jerry was involved with the comeback of 'modern roller derby'.

The roller derby community really is wonderful!
