Rule Reminders:

1) Keep the religious debate off of the thread please.

2) Do NOT call names or otherwise bash the defense team.

Folks, we're having some server issues today. We were hoping to move to two servers by 'verdict time' but it doesn't look like we're going to make it, but I promise, it's coming soon. Please bear with us.

It's my understanding that it is the weight of the hits that take us down. Another reason is the moving around, page to page and refreshing. It puts a lot of weight on the site.

Members can help if they will refrain from a lot of refreshing of the page. Another way you can help is to set your 'View Per Page' to at least 50.

Instructions are as follows:

Top of the page in the blue bar, click on

> User CP
> Edit Options

Scroll down to Thread Display Options

> Number of Posts to Show Per Page
> Show 50

Scroll all the way down to

> Save Changes

Making the above changes will help considerably. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope we don't have any problems, but in the event, we do, please know we're on it and we're working at keeping the site up.

Our IT Tech, is our super hero and has already come to our aid at least once today.

Sorry, I had to lock the thread for a minute, but I needed your attention.

Thanks everyone and let's hope for swift justice in this case!

PLEASE REVIEW THE ABOVE POST from SoSueMe.

Also, PLEASE REFRAIN FROM POSTING OFF TOPIC GRAPHICS, PICTURES, ETC.. on this busy thread. That helps tremendously with loading issues as well.

I bet there is one or two jurors that cannot side with the other.

Better not be a hung jury.

As hard as it was at times watching the trial, it's much harder waiting for the verdict.

Let's hope not. Maybe the disagreement is limited to a small aspect, at least I hope so....

Not the same without Steely. :sigh:

I can't think WHAT they could be disagreeing about - it's the most cut and dried case IMO.. :blushing:

Beth K said before the jury room door opened she heard chatter and laughter among them, but when they came out, they walked in a single file line to the elevator looking very sober and serious. JVM also asked her if she suspected any factions in the group and she said no. She even said something along the lines that she saw no one acting defiant. Perhaps her way of saying Jean C didn't see what others have seen. :twocents:

I don't take anything anyone tweets seriously as far as the way they act except Beth, KCL, Katie Wick or WAT.

I go back and forth. I think JA is a despicable being but I have to admit if I was the one who was making the decision, Even if I felt sure I would that it was murder 1. I would want to make really sure. Really really sure.. this is someone's life and I think they are taking it seriously.

It was good to hear from that guy (sheriff's department) on HLN saying Jodi has no pencils, no papers, no nothing while she sits in the basement all alone, waiting to learn her fate. Hey, that would be terrible..... sitting there day after day, nothing to do, bored to tears. I say let the jury take a month or two to reach a verdict! Except.........it's not fair to punish us!!!

From the questions asked by the jury I think some of them really get it. Hopefully they'll do a good job of convincing any others who haven't seen the light yet. If that's the case. It might be that they're reviewing all the evidence and taking their duty seriously. Two full days really isn't long imo.

Someone falling for damsel in distress, wronged by a half in half out boyfriend, courting other women, and she was pushed to the brink ?

I feel the same way.
I wonder if some might be having a harder time than they thought they might.

Another possibility is there's a juror or two who may not be very decisive. I know we've been talking a lot about jurors being set in a decision one way or the other but there could be individuals who simply take longer to come to a decision, or are fairly certain but really need to take their time because this is a huge decision.

I know it's been four months but this is so different, being amongst themselves and being able to interact and bounce ideas off of each other.
