Police began searching for Elbert Knox back in June. A month later the search was called off. Six months later family and friends still have lingering hope that Knox will turn up.

Shreveport Police need your help finding a man who has not been seen in over a year.

Elbert Knox, 51, was last seen back in June 2013 walking along a stretch of Kemp Lane in north Shreveport.

• Medical Conditions Knox suffers from schizophrenia and/or bipolar disorder as well as high blood pressure, and takes medication to control his conditions.
• Distinguishing Characteristics African-American male. Graying black hair, brown eyes. Know has a scar over his left eyebrow. He had a rash on the back of his left leg at the time of his disappearance.
