That is a dump site and surely not a place where somebody lives! There's toys around there too. Poor woman.

While the family of his victim watched, a Wyoming County man was sentenced Friday to life in prison with mercy and 25 years for armed robbery first degree.

Oscar Ross Combs Jr., 22, pleaded guilty in November 2014 for his role in the April 2011 murder of James “Bo” Butler of Summers County. Combs Jr. testified during the trial of his father, Oscar Ross Combs Sr., 45, that he shot Butler in the back of the head when his father told him to do so.

A Mercer County jury found Combs Sr. guilty in early January of first-degree murder with no recommendation for mercy, robbery first-degree, and conspiracy. Circuit Court Judge Derek Swope later sentenced Combs Sr. to life in prison without mercy, meaning he had no possibility of parole after 15 years. He was also sentenced to 80 years for robbery and one to five years for conspiracy. The sentences are to run consecutively.

Can't find any updates on Teresa's case.

This "father" was not a very nice human being...

Here is an older article during the trial of Combs Sr. regarding the killing of Butler

Combs Jr., described how his mother, Linda Combs, woke him that morning between 3:30 and 4 a.m. and told him that his father wanted him. He said that he told him mother he did not want to go, but she returned and stated, “he was raising hell.” Combs Jr. said he got out of bed because of the abuse his father had inflicted on him and the rest of his family.
Combs Jr. described how he and his father went to Herndon Mountain in Mercer County, and how they were supposed to meet Butler to give him some cable clamps. However, Combs Jr. said when they pulled over on the mountain, his father got out the .32-pistol, put it against his side and told him to shoot Butler.

I can't find any new details on the killing of Teresa; the only thing we know is that her body was found in a shallow grave on Combs' property.

In May 2015, the Wyoming County Grand Jury indicted Combs on a first-degree murder charge in the death of Teresa Lynn Ford, 38, of Matoaka, who was last seen May 16, 2013, in Mercer County. Her skeletal remains were found in April 2014 on Combs’ property. Investigators later estimated the remains had been there for a year.

Wyoming County Prosecuting Attorney Mike Cochrane told the Bluefield Daily Telegraph that the docket was set Tuesday, and the trial had been scheduled for mid-August.

Seeking answers, hoping for closure: First-degree murder trial continues in Wyoming County

Prosecuting Attorney Michael Cochrane said Friday after the jury had been dismissed for the day that a cadaver dog was walking along the property’s edge when it detected human remains. Specialists with the Smithsonian Institution were called in, and they recovered the bones from a shallow grave. Investigators believe the murder occurred on Bud Mountain where a mattress with blood on it was found.

The trial, which resumes Monday, has lasted for several days because a large amount of evidence must be presented to the jury. Besides testimony from the investigating officers, First Sgt. R.A. Maddy and Cpl. C.I. Fields of the West Virginia State Police, the jury must also listen to witnesses such as telephone digital analysts and forsenic analysts.
