Missing From: Charlottesville, Virginia

Height: 4'11" -- Weight: 90 lbs -- Hair Color: Black -- Eye Color: Brown

Quinn has scars near his left eye and a birthmark on the top of his head. He may go by the nickname Lil Quinn.


Quinn was last seen on July 4, 1998. He is believed to have originally left of his own accord. He may still be in the local area, or he may be in the company of drug dealers in the Harlem, New York or Detroit, Michigan areas.

Group renews search for missing city resident on 15th anniversary of disappearance

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children is asking once again for the public’s help in looking for Quinn Woodfolk, who went missing in Charlottesville 15 years ago today.

He ran away at eleven? Possibly with drug dealers? If he'd started getting involved in dealing drugs (assuming he didn't meet with foul play), I'm extremely worried that something like this happened to him if he tried to use an alias.
 
Bumping, Quinn has been missing for 18 years now. His 30th birthday is later this month. The lack of information is frustrating, hopefully the case is still active.

I wonder what makes them think herun away on his own accord and why would he be with drugdealers? He could be in the local area or almost anywhere in the country. Thy're cluless it seems.Nobody bothered cause they think its common that a 11 year old boy just left home and never came back. Who was his motherand what did they school say? if he was at risk was the social service involved somehow? did he have relatives in Harlem or Detroit or why did thy assume he could be there? Leaves more questions then answers.
 
Please correct me if I am wrong but wasn't JM living in Charlottesville and possibly in around 11th grade in 1998 when Quinn disappeared?

Details of Disappearance
Quinn was last seen on Friendship Court in his hometown of Charlottesville, Virginia on July 4, 1998. He was at home by himself that day, and when his father came home he was gone. He has never been heard from again.

Authorities believe that Quinn left of his own accord. He may be in the company of drug dealers in the Harlem, New York or Detroit, Michigan areas, or he may have remained in Charlottesville after his disappearance. His case remains unsolved
