Sheriff's Dept asks for your help in locating 71 y/o Dan Roberson, a missing person from Garland county..

Garland County Sheriff’s Department asks for your help in locating 71 y/o Dan Roberson.

Mr. Roberson was last seen at his residence on Blakely Camp rd. on July 9, 2013 at approximately 5:30 am. The family stated that Mr. Roberson left in his 2012 Silver Chevy SKI Pickup bearing Arkansas license plate # 567JPY, and also has a chrome toolbox. Mr. Roberson is described as being 6'2", 225 pounds, gray hair, brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, and a blue button up dickies shirt. Mr. Roberson is also a diabetic and does not have medication.

If you know the whereabouts of Mr. Roberson, you are asked to contact the Sheriffs Department at 501-622-3660.

Jessieville is a rural town outside of Hot Springs Village. Lots of woods and nearest bodies of water is in HS.
 
Foul play suspected in Dan Roberson's disappearance

Thursday night around midnight, volunteer searchers found personal effects from Roberson's vehicle on a "trail" off Main Haul Road off Hwy. 7 North in Garland County.

While investigators were processing the scene and gathering items, searchers found a stolen vehicle in a dense wooded area nearby. The vehicle is now in the Sheriff's Office custody.

So based on the video at the link above, the stolen vehicle they found wasn't his. It looks like the perps were in a stolen vehicle and then dumped it and carjacked Mr Roberson?

It would be helpful to know what Mr. Roberson's regular morning routine was. It sounds like he gets up early....but what does he normally do when he drives off? Where might he have bumped into the perps?

So where did his morning routine take him? I presume it was near/along Hwy 7.
 
I hope he'll come home safe but it doesn't look good. Even a large man isn't safe anymore. That's very sad. This especially hits me because this man is about the same age as my husband. The world is scary these days. Not only do I have to worry about my kids and grandkids but my husband too! And Mr. Roberson disappeared in a rural area. We live outside the most violent city in the country. I would expect people to be safe in rural areas.
