Buddy Holly look-a-like sought in Lowe's power tools thefts. (wtae.com)

GREENSBURG, Pa. State police are looking for a Buddy Holly look-a-like in thefts at two Lowe's stores in Westmoreland County.

According to police, the man stole Dewalt power tools worth more than $1,700 at stores in Greensburg and Latrobe.

The suspect has not been identified, other than loss prevention officers at the stores saying he resembled Holly.

How many people here in PA look like Buddy Holly? I think he looks like the guy in the Verizon ads.. "can you hear me now?". I'll keep my eyes peeled next time I'm in Lowes.
