Where do you stand?
Brian's 2-year-old daughter Vivian has Druvet Syndrome; a rare genetic condition that causes seizures untreatable by most FDA approved medications.
"Vivian tried six different drugs for epilepsy and was still having seizures that were lasting up to an hour," said Meghan Wilson, Vivian's mother.
The family made headlines fighting for the new bill that would make the marijuana rules for kids similar to adults, requiring only one doctor's signature instead of three.
It would allow for edible forms of marijuana and more strains to be grown.
It's thought that marijuana strains with higher levels of a chemical called CBD are more beneficial for epilepsy.
A father in Colorado says it helped his daughter who is battling the same genetic condition and had up to 300 seizures a week.
