A new true crime book called, "Whatever Happened to Little Nancy" is now available on Amazon Kindle. Of course if you don't have a kindle or other type of reader, you can download one for free on Amazon on the same page here and still buy & keep the book on that one.
This book picks up where Carlton Smith's story left off, meaning people wondered aloud why he didn't speak about Nancy's background.
For those who may recall, Nancy stuffed Jack Watkins body into a steamer trunk and left it to be unclaimed on the Appalachian trail. She had been hopelessly addicted to gambling and stole hundreds of thousands of dollars during her one woman crime wave over a period of years.
Jack Watkins was just one of many of her victims, albeit an elderly one, 30 years her senior. He honestly thought she was going to marry him. It was a ruse.
The book includes the crucial years of ages 13-16 and other chance meetings with Nancy that the author had over the years.
It should help give a further insight into the workings of her criminal mind.
Hope you enjoy it!
