Stafford County detectives are likely looking into the personal life of Lisa Madaris in hopes of finding clues that will lead them to the 35-year-old Woodbridge woman's murderer, a criminal expert said Wednesday.
Madaris' body was found Sunday morning in a field near Telegraph Road off Jefferson Davis Highway roughly two miles from the Prince William County border.
Madaris was last seen Wednesday night at 9 p.m. leaving Brittany's Sports Bar and Restaurant in Lake Ridge in her 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier.
The next morning her car was found burned in the Port Aquia subdivision in Stafford County. Police were unsuccessful in their attempts to contact her. A man walking his dog found her body Sunday morning.
