Human remains found near Ocoee
Orange County deputies search for remains near Ocoee.
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -
Human remains were discovered Friday afternoon in a wooded area near Ocoee, according to Orange County Sheriff's Office.

The remains, which include a skull, were found near Hackney Prairie Road and Apopka-Vineland Road, east of Florida State Road 429.


Deputies are attempting to recover all the bones, which will be sent to a medical examiner. A medical examiner gave preliminary confirmed the bones are human remains.

Tracy Ocasio's family is there, just in case. Apparently this area was part of or near a search for her.

I feel like there are several people from the Orlando area this could be (some of them already mentioned here).

Maybe Jennifer Kesse or Michelle Parker. And older cases like Tiffany Sessions (actually missing from Gainseville).

I hope this discovery leads to closure for one of the many families of the missing in the area.
 
Jennifer Kesse is also a possibility.

On Monday, the morning of 1/23/06, Jennifer left her boyfriends home in south Florida and drove directly to work in Ocoee Fl, not going home first but directly to her work as she usually did when she stayed the weekend in south Florida. On the night of Monday January 23rd, Jennifer left work at approx 6pm, walking out of the building, where she worked with her boss and wishing each other a good evening and will meet again in the morning. That evening, Jennifer talked to her Father, Mother, Brother and later with some friends and her boyfriend by phone as usual and that was the last anyone has seen or heard from Jennifer – Telephone call to her boyfriend at 9:57 pm 1/23/06 – Monday night.

Hopefully this discovery will give answers to someone's missing family member.
 
Whenever remains are found in that area of Florida, I always think of Haleigh. This location is ninety miles or so from Palatka, so a bit out of the way. Jennifer Kesse certainly comes to mind, too. There are so many possibilities.
 
Haleigh is why I asked if it was an adults remains found. They had all night to remove Haleigh from Satsuma. One hour and forty seven minutes one way could easily be done. Not that it is her, it is someone. Some family will have an answer to where their missing loved one is.

They're saying she might have been dead approximately four months to a year.
 
Oh I hope they can ID her......what an emotional morning this must have been for all those who have loved ones missing from the area.......my thoughts and prayers are with them.
 
Whenever I see a body found in FL I think of Haleigh as well as so many others, men and women and children missing in the state. When I saw tracy's name I misread it WAS her, had to re read, so glad I did, as i freaked!

Posted elsewhere and I have sent the info on the company to OCSO - but what do you think? Could it be from one of these? These are the only 2 images I can find that even come close (in my opinion) and both sold by the same company in Tampa. (the one being sold on ebay is being sold by the company also)

sent the info to OSCO so that maybe just maybe they can find out if one of theirs and maybe records of how many sold in the last year and if any in the area?? Maybe?? or wishful thinking?

Per this site: They said the remains found by a road crew widening Hackney Prairie Road off Apopka Vineland appear to have belonged to a black woman in her 20s or 30s.
