Mckenzie Mae Sessoms, 11 years old, was found lifeless in her bed by her father when he went in to wake her up for school on September 6, 2013.
She lived with her father and 2 adult brothers in Salemburg, NC, a small town in Sampson County, NC. Authorities initially called the death "suspicious," and then the M.E. ruled it a homicide.
LE is not saying what the manner of death is yet. There have been no arrests.
