Emotions erupted when the families of two sons one dead, the other charged with his murder met Monday in a corridor of the Clayton County Courthouse.
The angry exchange began when a reporter posed a question to Chimere Calloway, the mother of 2-year-old Xavier Miranda, who was shot to death, police say, by a man who stole the family's $1,700 income tax refund check.
"I want him to get the death penalty! I want him to die, I want him to die!" Calloway said of the suspect, Torrin Demond Reese. "He is through. He's through!"
