There seems to be very little information out there on Jaclyn. She is apparently still missing, as highlighted above. It looks like a Facebook page relating to he disappearance had now been taken down, maybe because of the connection being made to the Sandro Lisi/Rob Ford investigation.

Very interesting. I've also noticed how little information there is on this lady. Are police not concerned? What about her vehicle? I've been looking for a twitter account and/or a facebook. Even if Lisi is involved, why not still appeal for info?
 
The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance locating a missing woman.

Jaclyn Dawe, 35, was last seen on Saturday, February 9, 2013, at 9:30 a.m., in the Benway Drive/Stavely Crescent area.

She is described as white, 5'4", 106 lbs., blue eyes with straight brown hair. She was last
seen wearing a brown 3/4-length jacket.

Her car was left abandoned on Benway Drive.

Police are concerned for her safety.

I did a facebook search for Jaclyn last night and there was nothing on her at all. No missing group.

A careful reading of the document also reveals that police, for unknown reasons, set up surveillance on more than just Ford and Lisi. Detectives watched a house at 51 Benway Dr. in north Etobicoke this summer. That turns out to be where a red Ford Mustang used by Lisi was parked. Some of the activities officers observed are blacked out.

In one instance, detectives watched the resident, Kenneth Boot, go in and out at various times, using a cane at one point, walking with a limp and “minor tremors” and then later, after receiving an unknown visitor, walking without the cane. The police, in their reports, do not explain the importance of that observation, and part of their report is blacked out.

The Star discovered that 51 Benway was named in a February police news release related to a missing woman, Jaclyn Dawe, 35, who was last seen there on Feb. 9, 2013.

Police spokesman Mark Pugash said Saturday that Dawe is still missing. There is nothing in the document, other than the address, to connect the missing woman to Boot or Lisi.

I wish the media would push this story more and demand that police update about the status of this investigation. WTH happened to her and why is the facebook page gone now? There is NO info on this person. Who is she? Did she have a job? What was she doing earlier in the the day? COME ON!!!

The press release in the first post of this thread, says last seen in the area of Benway Drive/Stavley Crescent whereas this post on I love Toronto actually says 51 Benway....the bit about depression isn't on the PR either...

ALSO the comment under the post is just wrong IMHO!

Hmmm. The facebook for "I love Toronto" is the only place with the depression info right now? As you said Tarabull, that info isn't on the police bulletin anymore if it was there at all.

This person posted on a forum that she was a coworker. A check of this person's profile indicates that she is a musical therapist.

She may have run in this Toronto Marathon. The age range is correct.

Looks like there was a LinkedIn page for someone of that name at one point but gone. Looks like a few things that seem to possibly all link to this same person are gone from the internet.

Looks like she might have had a presence in the internet that's pretty much been wiped out. Odd.

Great work Kamille! Here is the website for COTA. Interesting that KB from the address on Benway had tremors and a cane. I wonder if he needed home care and she was helping.

Hmmm...never thought of that. Maybe she saw or heard something she shouldn't have during a home visit? Might also explain why she was in the area at 9:30am?
 
Is there any way to pin down when the facebook page was taken down? Initially I assumed it might have been taken down because of an onslaught of searches driven by the connection to the Ford scandal. Maybe the family or whoever ran it didn't want the attention, perhaps they felt the connection was misleading, etc.

But if it was taken down earlier, may something more sinister is going on? A payoff... why would friends or family stop looking for her?

It's very sad to think someone can just go missing with so little attention brought to it.

Has there been any update to this case? Is she still missing?

This appears to be her Facebook page. It was updated only a few days ago and it appears she is living in Thailand.

The Toronto police website does not have any information on her anymore (you would think that they would update their information to say "found").

As some of you may know she disappeared in front of a home that is connected to the Rob Ford saga (Sandro Lisi associated with the guy whose home Dawe was last seen at.
 
I can't find anything about her on the internet anymore in regards to her missing.. perhaps that FB profile is her. Is there a way to find out if she has been located?
 
Sheesh ... even the TPS bulletin linked above has gone poof.
