GUILTY PA - Three teens shot outside Brashear High School, Pittsburgh, 13 Nov 2013

Spokesperson said none have life threatening injuries. This happened off campus when the 3 boys were getting in a vehicle. The victims are not cooperating with police. Currently the police have an apartment building surrounded of where the shooters went (possibly). The witnesses said there were 3 shooters possibly.

They just said it's a house, not apartment building. The swat team are using a bullhorn trying to coax the people out. Reporting it might be gang related.

3 victims are friends and all play basketball together.

2 people have been taken into custody per live link, possibly a 3rd.

3 people in custody.

3 shot outside Pittsburgh Brashear High School

Police said the three people shot knew the shooter or shooters. Pittsburgh police said information from school officers indicated today's shooting might be linked to a fight at the school Oct. 18 -- possibly drug-related -- which led to a lockdown there for a week.

One student left the school and the lockdown was lifted, police said.

This explains why the 3 shot (another shot at not wounded) weren't cooperating with LE. It's drug related. Drugs.

3 Pa. students shot; suspect calls it retaliation

By JOE MANDAK The Associated Press PITTSBURGH

— Three Pittsburgh high school students heading to their vehicle after classes ended were shot Wednesday, and another student was charged and told police he was retaliating for being beaten during a drug-related robbery last month at school, police said.

Kraus wouldn't detail the October encounter that fueled the shooting but said Willett hadn't returned to school since. Pittsburgh Public Schools police investigated the Oct. 18 robbery but couldn't file charges because Willett wouldn't identify his attackers, telling investigators "he would take matters to his own account," Kraus said.

Kraus said police don't expect to charge any of the shooting victims in connection with the assault and robbery, which he characterized as drug-related without offering details."If there's no victim, there's no crime," Kraus said. -

I truely hope this doesn't get brushed away. The victims are basketball players. Their reputation is being heavily looked at now if it wasn't already. The suspect had no right to go shooting at them either. I hope the school(s) takes action, if LE can't.

A man who was accused at 16 of firing bullets into a crowd of students — striking three — as they left Brashear High School will be tried as an adult, an Allegheny County judge ruled Friday.

Common Pleas Judge Anthony M. Mariani denied a motion from Anjohnito “A.J.” Willett Jr., 18, asking that he be tried as a juvenile on attempted homicide and other charges...

Mariani said he denied the motion for several reasons, including the seriousness of the crime. When someone opens fire on students outside a school, he said, “the entire community is greatly affected.”
