HELENA — The FBI and law enforcement offi-cers in eastern Montana are asking for the public’s help in locating a man suspected of molesting a 5-year-old girl in Baker. The man has been known to use the aliases Sean Denning, Shawn Denning, Sean Dennis, Dave Freebard and Dennis Shawn. He is between 5 feet, 7 inches and 5 feet, 10 inches tall, about 135 pounds and between the ages of 44 and 55. He has gray hair and brown eyes. The man was last seen in Miles City on Aug. 20. Anyone with information is asked to call Baker Police at (406) 778-2151 or the FBI at (801) 579-1400.

The FBI and the Baker Police Department are seeking the public’s help in locating an "unknown" male suspect connected to the molestation of a 5-year-old Baker girl.

The suspect is believed to be between the ages of 44 and 55 and has several known aliases, including Sean Denning, Shawn Denning, Sean Dennis, Dave Freebard, Dennis Shawn, ChicagoSean," and "Dennis593," according to a news release from Patricia Speelman, spokesperson for the Salt Lake City Division of the FBI.

The suspect is described as a white male between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall and 120 to 150 pounds. He is also believed to have gray hair and brown eyes.

The suspect, who was last seen in Miles City on Aug. 20, has worked as a handyman and an administrator at an assisted care facility, the news release said.

According to the news release, the man has the words "Virginia" and "Crissy" or "Cristy" tattooed on his upper arm or biceps, a tattoo of a tiger on his chest and the word "Dad" on his upper arm or bicep. He is also reported to have a bump above his left eye, in which he claims a BB pellet is lodged.

The suspect also has one finger that was broken and now does not lay flat, the news release said.

The suspect has stated that the tattoos of "Virginia" and "Crissy" or "Cristy" refer to the name of his wife and 14-year-old daughter, who were killed by a drunken driver in 1992. He enjoys model airplanes and repairing bicycles and may have a southern accent, the news release said.

The suspect has been described as a "snappy" dresser, and many of his shirts were Seattle-themed tourist shirts, the news release said. He is also reportedly obsessed with gold jewelry and wears three gold rings on his fingers.

The suspect has reported being from Chicago and indicated he had lived in San Francisco, according to the news release. He has spoken about Oklahoma, Oregon, and Washington State. It is reported that the suspect likes to travel by bus and claims to be independently wealthy from selling three garages that repaired cars in Chicago.

Any information on the suspect can be reported to the FBI by calling 801-579-1400 or to the Baker Police Department at 778-2151.

Note Susp #12's hairstyle, how he seems to be hiding a receded hairline with the type of cut he has. Wish we had a good image of the back of his head so we cound see if there was a bald spot back there.

John Doe 27 has a balding spot at rear of his head.

Found one!!! I think I even gave this link above but didn't notice this picture. Here's a pic of the back of John Doe #12's head. I don't see a bald spot. Could it be the way he combed his hair when he wore it longer that it maybe his a thinning spot? Ether that or he's not the same guy as #27.

Should we open another thread on Unknown Suspect John Doe #12 and delete these posts relating to him here, or just let it go?

not sure JG, that hair cut on Suspect #12 has a distinctly bad toupee look to it. Whether that is because its an attempt with haircut/style to obscure the thinning hairline and a bald spot of its a hairpiece I still think they may be one and the same dude.

Since several of us feel they may relate, starting a suspect #12 thread is probably a good idea but we will probaly want to take images about John Doe 27 over tot he new one for comparison.

That way if this thread gets closed because FBI states they have ID'd JD27, we will still be able to continue sluething susp #12 separately.

What do you guys all think?

I am thinking not clearly a male or female (I lean towards a female myself but that is just a hunch) taking the photo but agree, if we can some how zoom in on that reflection and clean it up we may be able to get an image of the person taking the photo. although not sure how that will fly with WS TOS since we have no reason to believe person taking photo is in any way involved in the crimes this suspect has committed. We may need a mod ruling even if we can get a shot of that.

I don't think we should bc the person taking the photo could very well be the person that gave police these pictures. Maybe it was her daughter that was raped by this pig. Maybe she's the one that gave the authorities his name, or at least the name she knew him by, but then the FBI investigated & found those to just be aliases. If she's identified then her daughter is identified. Maybe that's why they went nationwide instead of staying local. All hypothetical, just thinking... I mean, how could police get such personal pictures of this man unless somebody close to him provided them? Kwim?

They already know who the victim is. It's the perp they don't know. They only know his aliases and his last addresses using those aliases.

That was my first thought - that it looked like a wig stuck on his head.

They look close enough to be the same person. If only we could get an undistorted picture of #27 or another picture in a different position, it would help.

You all know more about splitting up the threads. If we do split them, I would copy the posts over, but leave something to connect to each other.

I wish we had a forum just for identifying the unknown perps wanted by the FBI, ICE, etc. That way each of the threads in it would be easier to locate, compare and maybe connect to each other. Some of these perps may be responsible for cases we are actually working on, but we don't know it yet.

I just keep losing the threads when we have so many other type crimes on children.
Just like the old white haired man sitting on the side of the bed next to a bed table, I can't find that thread any more and have never heard if he was identified.

old man on bed (quick trip cup and dvde case on table) was ID'd I was looking at that thread earlier hoping to find photo app info to clean up the JD #27 photos. We never heard who he was or that he was incustody, just that FBI had his ID and it came from tip from public.

But yes, a subform for this sort of specific crime against children involving FBI/ICE appeals would be wonderful. I will pm some admin to see if that is possible.

For now off to create Suspect #12 thread.

They know of 1 victim.....The use of aliases indicates he has long been evading, there is more than one victim.

the perp in that case (John Doe 27) bears what some WS members feel is more than a passing resemblance to this unidentified suspect #12.
