UK - Slavery family go to jail

A family of mother, father and son in Sheffield, UK have been found guilty of imprisoning a man and keeping him in slavery. The video in the Daily Mail is pretty horrible, be warned. Appears the family may have been stupid enough to record it themselves, too.

I thought there was already a thread for this case but I can't find it.

Good news is - police found £15,000 hidden in the slavekeeper's house and the judge gave it to the victim.

correct me if i am wrong, the neighbors knew about this and did nothing??
 
This is disgusting. Why such a short sentence for the woman? She needs to go away for a long time too, they all do.
 
Oh dear. It seems the local community are very, very upset about this and have taken matters into their own hands.

They have vandalized the house Craig was held in, and burnt down the garage.

I hope the dogs weren't in there. And I also worry about that ice cream business - I don't think there's anything to stop these people continuing to go around selling ice cream to children. It doesn't seem right to me somehow. Their crime is nothing to do with kids of course......but I don't think they should be anywhere near vulnerable people myself, adults or not.
