I just stumbled across this thread and my first thought was had she been arrested for prostitution in the past? I couldn't find her arrest records to confirm though.

Her being at a hotel was my first indicator. Being "placed into a silver car" made me think of a story I read out of LA where a John was pretending to be a cop and assaulting women. Could it be possible she encountered a client that pretended to be a cop and put her in his car?

I just looked on backpage and found an ad which I am 99% is hers. I don't think I can link it but if you look under Manhattan, KS on backpage, then escorts and search keyword Hunni Luvv, you will see her. She had two ads posted in the area 2/1 and 2/7.

From March 2015:

3 men indicted for kidnapping and killing Junction City woman

Three people have been charged with kidnapping a woman and killing her while holding her captive on the Fort Riley military base.

The U.S. attorney’s office says an indictment was returned Wednesday against 26-year-old Larry L. Anderson, 23-year-old Marryssa M. Middleton and 24-year-old Drexel A. Woody. All three are being held in the Geary County Jail on a charge of kidnapping resulting in death for the February 2014 killing of 24-year-old Amanda Clemons of Junction City. No attorneys are listed for them in online court records.

I searched news on this case, because why? The motive eludes me, I thought there had to be jealousy of SOMETHING because women involved? But there isn't anything out there on motive. I think it is being prosecuted by military though, we may never know.

Drexel A. Woody pleaded guilty to one count of kidnapping resulting in death. His sentencing date is scheduled for January 30th. Co-defendants Larry L. Anderson, Marryssa M. Middleton, Christopher Pugh and Shantrell D. Woody (Holliday) are still awaiting trial. The circumstances surrounding Amanda's abduction and murder are horrifying, to say the least.

On the morning of February 7th 2014, two co-defendants in the case – 27-year-old Larry L. Anderson and his girlfriend, 25-year-old Marryssa M. Middleton – approached Woody about taking part in their plan to attack Clemons. Middleton was angry at Clemons over comments she had made on social media.

Christopher Pugh, 32 of Junction City, was also included in the plan.

Court documents state that Woody knew Middleton through his wife, 27-year-old Shantrell Holliday, who is also listed as a co-defendant. Holliday is a former soldier who was stationed at Fort Riley, where she and Woody lived.

The plan involved Woody arranging a rendezvous with Clemons, who prosecutors say was a prostitute, at the hotel. Woody, Pugh, Anderson and Middleton drove to the victim’s hotel in Junction City. Woody walked into the room and after discussing the encounter, told Clemons he needed to get money from his car.

Woody told prosecutors that before leaving the room, he heard a knock at the door. The other three defendants then rushed into the room and Middleton immediately began beating the victim.

During the attack, Middleton demanded $300 she claimed Clemons owed her. Hoping to end the assault, Clemons claimed she had the money at hotel in Grandview Plaza. The defendants drove Clemons to that hotel, but she was still unable to produce the money. They then forced Clemons back into the car and took her to Woody’s house, located on the military base at Fort Riley.

While at Woody’s residence, the defendants allowed the victim to call her young son and her mother. The victim’s mother realized the victim was in danger and called Junction City Police. When police called the victim’s number to check on her, and the defendants listened to the call on speaker phone. Fearing arrest, the defendants transported the victim to a bridge in a remote part of Geary County, where they resumed the beating and attacked her with a knife.

Clemons managed to break free of her attackers, jumped off the bridge and fell 15 feet, breaking her ankle in the process. Middleton found Clemons lying in the snow and attempted to cut her throat. When she was unable to do so, Anderson took the knife and inflicted the final stab wound that killed Clemons. Her body was found by police a few days later.
