A different type of missing person's case...

Man searches for wife's remains after body goes missing -

A man is searching for his wife's remains following her unexpected death while in Colorado on business. Shane Martin, from Las Vegas, was in Pueblo for business when his wife, who was along for the trip, became ill and passed away in January. "She was compassionate, loving, caring," Martin said of his wife.

Shane and Elizabeth Martin were married four years. Lisa, as he calls her, was his best friend. Their relationship goes back a quarter century. They used to be inseparable, now Martin can't find his deceased wife.

Oh this is such a sad story!
I hope this man can find the closure he needs.

Wow! Funeral Homes and Crematoriums are not licensed in Colorado?!!! This is a link to where Shane might start by registering a complaint. Fortunately, most states have avenues that do not require expensive litigation and often yield quick responses. In his complaint he might simply ask, "Does this issue constitute fraud? If so, are you willing to forward it to the Attorney General's Office on my behalf?"
