So,as I was saying.....Has anyone deliberated on a jury that didn't have a private bathroom for the jurors adjacent to the jury room? If not, in what state?

Note: Not OT, relevant to the suggestion on previous thread that jurors might need break to use bathroom.

Me x 2 :)

NC

Although I will say both courthouses were much older than the one being used right now in Raleigh.

SOME courthouses also have a "victims' family room" with private bathroom.

just a bit of trivia to pass time waiting for verdict. don't ask why I'm interested in private bathrooms in courthouses.....LOL. Have no idea myself.

I have not served, but if a restroom is there the remaining jurors would have to refrain from discussing the case while that juror uses the restroom correct..?
This particular state meets with jurors every time they need a break and the judge cautions them about discussing the case.

Long story short ... I don't know the answer to your question. I am just babbling because I am getting nervous and preparing for mistrial!

VERDICT VERDICT VERDICT....at least that's what the sign says?

I guess my buzzy-fuzzy verdict feeling was on point, after all.

Verdict!!!!!

Jury is asking for escort out of the building.
