Timothy Six: Missing From Ohio -

timothysix.jpg

This guy is still missing. I am so heartbroken for the family not knowing what could have happened to him. This isn't getting any media coverage here either. I've only seen it in the local paper the one time and that was almost 2 weeks ago. By now he could have been seen by so many people who just might not know that he's missing.

I did discover he was featured on a missing blog yesterday. There's a bit more info about him. Hopefully someone sees him somewhere and gets him back home to his family.

He is 6 foot tall, approx. 285 lbs. wearing a white Pittsburgh Steelers baseball cap, black t-shirt, dark shorts with a white stripe down the sides and white tennis shoes. He has black hair, green eyes, probably a lot of facial hair, a tattoo that says Leslie Anne over his heart and a tattoo that says LUCY down the back of his calf. He has no money, no phone, no ID and no vehicle.

Search teams will unite to look for missing man
By WKBN Staff Published: September 26, 2014, 8:33 pm

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Search and rescue teams from Central Ohio and Pennsylvania will be conducting a search for Timothy Six Jr. in the Warren area on Saturday.
Search and Rescue Ohio will manage a search utilizing resources from Mid-West K9 Search Unit, the Allegheny Mountain Rescue Group and independent K-9 handler Rick Smith. The search will take place outside of the Warren city limits and will be based on evidence gathered over the past seven months.

Six suffers from severe Paranoid Schizophrenia.

Tony Walker, CEO of Search and Rescue Ohio, said they are hopeful to find Timothy Six alive, but they are prepared for any outcome.

“We’re looking for evidence. So it could be a recovery. We also hope he had some type of an episode and is alive and well somewhere and may not know who he is, or if he is scared of something,”

Relatives tell police he suffers from severe paranoid schizophrenia and went to the hospital for that reason. With temperatures hovering around 25 degrees that day, he may have tried to walk home from the hospital.

The groups are working with the Howland Police Department and are searching near the south side of Warren along the bike path, railroad tracks and wooded areas near the apartment where Timothy lived with his aunt.

“We received some information he may be in a wooded area here in Howland. So we are trying to give them all the attention we can and find him,” said Paul Monroe, chief of the Howland Police Department.

I saw that--about a half mile down the street from where he was last seen at the hospital. :(

WARREN, Ohio

A contractor inspecting a building for asbestos discovered human remains behind the wall of an upstairs apartment.

Don Walters with Walters Paving tells 21 News that he was inspecting drywall at the building at 540 East Market Street on Thursday when he found a human arm bone in a pile of insulation on the first floor.

"We saw the bone then we saw a hole up in the ceiling which made me go to the second floor and discover the body, hidden in a crawl space," said Walters.

Police estimate the body had been there at least one year.

"It was horrible, the stench when I pulled the compartment back, it was hidden under it, was just completely over whelming," said Walters.

Police have not identified the age, gender or cause of death at this time.

The Chief says, he can't recall anyone missing for more than a year, so he suspects it may be someone from outside the city.

Really ...?? No wonder these guys never solve crimes...............

I've followed Tim's case since his disappearance because it's close to local for me. I've also been kind of in touch with the family (his mom) for a few months and just wanted to post about some recent developments in Tim's case.

First of all, the remains found in the apartment in Warren most likely aren't Tim. His mother spoke with the Lt. the day the body was found and they said based on size and clothing that it probably wasn't him, but that they weren't going to rule him out. The next day she spoke with the detective and given more information and details about the remains they (the family and the detective) are confident it is not Tim. The remains have been sent to an anthropologist somewhere for identification. Links from recent articles:

In more recent news, a Facebook friend who has helped share flyers over the last year thinks they spotted Tim getting an Easter meal at a mission in San Diego, California. She gave the family a lot of information that leads them to believe that this man, who says his name is John, is really Tim. The family has contacted LE in San Diego to alert them. They are debating flying out there to find out for sure if it's Tim and bring him home. A family member set up a go fund me for expenses (not sure if I can post it here or not though). This is the first solid lead the family has received in more than a year.

Does this mean they found him ??

The family got a tip that Tim has been seen among the homeless community in San Francisco. The mom and dad flew to the west coast to search for him, but, could not find him. They do believe it IS him.

About 2 weeks after Tim went missing. He was last seen at a food bank in Medina Ohio talking to our pastor and about a month later. I notice the same description of Tim getting on a greyhound bus, as I was dropping of my sister there to go home. I haven't seen or heard anything since Tim getting on the bus in Cleveland greyhound bus station
