I sent Johnnie Herrera in as a possible match yesterday. The detective I spoke to about Johnnie's case a few years ago said that he and his wife were having problems in their marriage around the time he went missing. Perhaps he became so stressed with the struggles of being only 20 and having a wife and son that he just walked away from it all only to get into a fatal accident years later. Johnnie's family insisted that he'd never just run off without explanation and that he seemed fine just before he vanished, but some people buckle under marital and financial stress and abruptly disappear because they can't handle their current situation any longer.

Another good possible match. Jose might be more likely because his disappearance is much closer to the time John Doe was killed.

The postmortem photo for this John Doe is on one of the other sites:

WARNING - Postmortem photo at link below:
    312UMCA - Postmortem Photo

He doesn't look like either Cabrera or Espinoza.

I don't know if it's the lighting in the postmortem pic, but his hair looks brown rather than black. He also appears to be missing a front tooth, but we don't know if that could have happen when he was hit by the car that killed him.

The third sketch on his Doe Network page looks almost nothing like him.
