They once called her the Burger King Baby.

Katheryn Deprill was born in the bathroom of a Burger King in Allentown, Penn., where he was wrapped in a maroon sweatshirt that was placed on top of a white plastic bag. Now a mother of three, Deprill is looking for her birth mother and has appealed to her Facebook friends for help.

"I would like to say thank you to her, that she did not throw me away," Deprill told the Morning Call.

Katheryn Deprill: Pennsylvania woman using Facebook to locate mother who abandoned her 27 years ago

"I really want to see her and just ask her why and see if I have any brothers and sisters and anyone that looks like me," she said. She has a message for her birth mother. "We're not coming after you for anything. We're not angry. I just want to see you. I want to say thank you for not throwing me away, literally," said Deprill.

Wonder what the statue of limitations are on this type of thing. I'm sure she has a strong desire to find out about her parents and bio-siblings but could finding her birth mother lead to criminal charges?

I don't think the birth mother will come forward unless that's clarified.
I think the statute has run for sure, but that should have been clarified.

This one is listed as missing in November of 1986

if she went missing before that she could be the BKB mother?

Was the BKB full term?
I could not find that information.
IF not many things are possible.
The mother could have never told anyone of her pregnancy and was a runaway?
So maybe looking for runaways from 1985-86?

Hoping for success for Katheryn Hollis DePrill:seeya:

That sounds like a really prefect ending. They both wanted to find each other, there is forgiveness, they want to continue the relationship and she has the support of her adoptive Mother. What more could you ask for?
