Conway police were searching for a 14-year-old girl who went missing Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities said Abigail Hernandez was last seen leaving Kennet High School on foot around 2:30 p.m.

Based on a K-9 track, police think she did arrive at her home on Village Way in North Conway, but she wasn't there by the time her mother got home.

Hernandez was described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and 118 pounds, with brown hair and eyes and an olive complexion. She was last seen wearing black yoga pants and a grey sweatshirt.

Anyone with information is urged to call Conway police at 603-356-5715.

I wonder if Abby's phone ever pinged again?

Thanks for the new thread bessie! Thread 11, hoping this is 'the one' :please:

Where is Abby?! #bringabbyhome

Did anything ever come of the body found in Hooksett? Mentioned in the last thread.. I apologize if this has been answered.

We are over 750 on our map :) And that number is growing!

4400 people have visited the map and the markers have been clicked on 32,000 times. Thanks everyone for continuing to share it. Hopefully Abby will see it somehow and know how much people care for her.

quick edit on this post- to clarify, 750 pins/locations on the map, like NH Girl said. 4400 people have visited the map and the pins have been opened and looked at 32,000 times.

So 750 pins is just under 10% of the total likes on the BAH page. But 4400 individuals have opened the pins 32,000 times. That's a lot of eyes and quite successful exposure. How do those stats compare to the page views on FB/BAH and BringAbbyHome.com pages?

Am I creating more work for you? LOL Sorry. I am curious how to turn those 4400 views into pins!

The WMUR story probably generated some views but unfortunately they use Disqus for comments which are always negative.
The Shamshack interview on FoxBoston probably generated more views and they require Facebook log-ins for commenters so there is less negativity.

ABC News has done some good coverage about Abby - maybe they could do a follow-up and include the map.

Since it went live at the beginning of November, we have had 60,000 unique visitors to the bringabbyhome.com website, and each one spent on average about 6 minutes there. 6 minutes is a long time in the web drive-by attention span world, especially considering some portion of visitors always includes search engines and bots, which only spend seconds on a site.

I really didn't think Id see Abby needing over 11 threads and she's still missing. What the hell happened?!

60K individuals @ 6 minutes avg. means once they click on the dot com they are then clicking the links, reading the stories, etc. That 60K is almost double the pin openings on the map. That's huge IMO.

Can you add a banner ad on each page of the bringabbyhome.com page or does an advertiser have to supply that?
I am thinking a running banner for the map. If you get and advertiser like CDS to run a banner perhaps they would alternate their ads with Abby posters and/or the Map link?
Curious.

I am not understanding the benefit- are you saying CDS buys a banner ad on the BAH site and it would also promote the BAH site every X number of times they run it? If people are already on the site, what would be the benefit of promoting the site more? People are already there.

And no plans to put ads on the site right now but I am still confused by what you are saying would be the benefit.
