Police are currently searching near the Childers Showgrounds after CC went missing from the house on Ridgway St about 7am Thursday.
Crime scene tape has been place around a home and police say they fear the little girl may be at risk. An abduction alert has been issued.
It is understood C’s parents put her to bed last night before going to sleep about 1am.
When they woke in the morning, she was gone.

“There’s a footprint on the roof of the car to get through to the window.

This looks bad. School closeby, parks and rural farms area and close to the Bruce highway.
 
I wonder if the foot print is that of the child's or an adult? This is just terrible. I hope they find her soon. How heartbreaking :(

BBM - I was wondering the same thing but then I re-read it “There’s a footprint on the roof of the car to get through to the window.
 
She reminds me of Madeliene McCann. Somewhat similar circumstances, too. Only the parents were home. Beautiful little girl. Prayers she is found soon!
 
I was just admiring the beautiful Daniel Morcombe rose when I saw this story as breaking news - hoping Chloe is found safe and sound today :please:

Would a stranger worry about a blanket & teddy unless she cried for them?
I'd like to confirm that it is the biological father who was living in the house or was he estranged at the time.
Police work inside out in these cases. Firstly family then last known acquaintances/contacts and local pedophiles.
Hopefully not another known pedophile released from prison (like Cowan).

She is only 3? Seriously? Are we sure that is the right kid?
She just does NOT look 3 years old to me, she looks much older.
I can't put my finger on why though... :dunno:

Also it is now 1pm there... she has been missing since at least 7am.

I thought she looked older too, but maybe it's just that she's almost 4?
 
From Maps there is quite a bit of farmland/bush in the area - wonder why they're concentrating on the High School area.
