Human remains found on SeaWorld property
---
SAPD spokesman Javier Salazar said skeletal remains were found around 100 yards south of the park near Military Drive West, and may have been there for several months to more than a year.

The area where the remains were found is heavily wooded and inaccessible to parkgoers.

Salazar said there is no reason to suspect foul play at this time.

Brandon Lawson? It's not too far from where he went missing....

Yea that bugs me too. Plus they said skeletal remains, so how the heck do they know what happened to the guy? They haven't got a clue in the world.

I honestly think it's said to keep the public calm and not fearful that there are murderers running around their community.

JMO it seems to me that the police say they don't have reason to suspect foul play if
A) they're pretty sure it was a suicide or a natural death
or
B) they don't have a clue what happened.

Not that I can find. Articles just say that the medical examiner's office has the remains and they are trying to ID the person and determine what happened.

This article was updated on April 16th and a commenter asked about a San Antonio woman who went missing during a walk in January. (ETA, that person is probably asking about a case that was solved months ago and discussed here on WS. The missing woman's initials are LB and she was found after committing suicide, so she's not the UID in this case.): http://www.ktsm.com/news/human-remains-are-discovered-seaworld-property-san-antonio

I was getting ready to post that he was talking about Leanna. I was thinking the remains were older than that though. That was just the feeling I got from the official's words.

found an odd criminal case with this name, and in TX, but the name is far too common to make an assumption with no DOB etc.
