"Niagara Regional Police are requesting the assistance of anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Melika Powell.

She is 32 years old and is described as 5-foot-3 and having a medium build, weighing 150 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes.

Const. Derek Watson said Wednesday afternoon that Powell was was last seen in St. Catharines' Montebello Park near Ontario and Midland Sts. in early January.

I realize it may not be the fault of the Niagara Police, but it's beyond frustrating that we're not hearing about this until 3 months after she's disappeared. Hope the media attention generates some tips.
