Police, family search for missing man -

A man who has been missing since Saturday has epilepsy, and it’s feared that he doesn’t have his medication with him, Statesboro police said. Police said Sweet also has not shown up for his job. Both law enforcement officials and family members are concerned for his safety, especially because he is prone to suffering from epileptic seizures.

Yesterday around 7 p.m., a 14-year-old boy who was hunting on the south side of Millen off Edna Lanier Road found a partial skeleton of a man, according to Jenkins County Sheriff Robert Oglesby.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is looking into the discovery. There is some speculation that the remains could be that of a missing man from Bulloch County, but official findings have not yet been released, as the case remains under investigation.

Teenage hunters found a partial skeleton, which was apparently scattered by logging equipment, in some woods off Edna Lanier Road in Jenkins County on Dec. 31, said Jenkins County Sheriff Robert Oglesby.

He said foul play is "definitely" suspected, and the investigation was turned over to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Lipsey said her son's body was found in what looked like a shallow grave.
