Missing child alert issued for Temple Terrace girl -

TEMPLE TERRACE --
According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, 9-year-old Felecia Williams was last seen at the Doral Oaks Apartments on Tanglewood Place. Officials said the girl's mother in Ybor City was contacted. She has not heard from her daughter, authorities said. Temple Terrace police say she went missing Friday afternoon while visiting a relative at the apartments. Officials said was inside an apartment when an adult went to take a shower. That's when officials say the girl wandered off.

Hmmm...might that relative be an adult male? Why did he suddenly need to shower while she was there?

I hope the police did some forensics evidence collection before it was all cleaned up.

TEMPLE TERRACE — Police are searching for a missing 9-year-old girl who seemingly vanished Friday afternoon from an apartment while the adult family friend watching her was taking a shower, authorities say.

The girl, Felecia Williams,...was not reported missing for at least five hours, police said.

Felecia, who lives with her mother in Ybor City, was picked up there by a family friend Friday, police say. The friend then took Felecia to a unit in Doral Oaks, even though the family friend does not live there, police say.

Police say they have no evidence the girl was abducted.

The family friend's relationship with Felecia is unclear.

Police said Felecia was wearing a black and green striped shirt, blue jeans and black shoes. The girl is 4-foot, 5-inches tall and weighs 100 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, police said.

The older sister had never met the godmother? That's a concern.
 
And mom was at a hair appointment so she may have not even known Felicia was getting picked up
 
According to Givens, Williams was in her home in Ybor City along with her other siblings on Friday while their mother was at a hair appointment. William's godmother, a woman known as Ebony, showed up at the house and said she wanted to take Williams somewhere. Ebony is known to Williams, so she left with her.

Later Ebony said she needed to stop and take a shower but instead of stopping at her own apartment, she went to a friend's apartment in Doral Oaks. While Ebony was taking a shower, Williams went missing.

Ebony searched for Williams for two hours and then reported her missing.

very odd! who is this friend's apartment she went to?? maybe godmother handed this child over to someone but did not expect them to disappear with her.
 
I doubt she just wandered off on in an area she's not familiar with unless she felt threatened some kind of way. IMO
 
why did Ebony even pick up Felicia?
why did Ebony have to take a shower at a 'friend' place and not her home?
Did she 'do something' to Felicia BEFORE the shower?
Ebony had a key to 'friends' place?
Was that friend a male?
Was the friend there???
so many unanswered questions!
 
This is a very strange situation and very sad too. I hope and pray she is found safe.
