Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a missing 17-year-old boy who fled from a hospital Monday and hasn’t been seen since. Julio Sanchez was taken to Victor Valley Community Hospital on Sunday, but left on Monday at 9:35 a.m. San Bernardino County sheriff’s officials say he fled from medical staff.

A teenager who abruptly left Victor Valley Hospital amid treatment there on Sunday is missing and believed to be a danger to himself, authorities say...

Sanchez reportedly “ran from medical staff” and has not made contact with family members. Deputies immediately began searching for Sanchez with assistance from the Sheriff’s aviation unit and California Highway Patrol.

Known to frequent downtown Victorville and the Stoddard Wells Road area, Sanchez is described as a Hispanic male, five foot 11 inches tall, 160 pounds and having brown eyes and brown hair. He has a tattoo of a marijuana leaf on his left forearm and was last seen wearing dark shorts and no shirt.
