S.F. man wanted by FBI posts apparent suicide note

(06-02) 11:10 PDT SAN FRANCISCO -- The San Francisco political and media consultant who prompted a nationwide manhunt this weekend after FBI agents allegedly found explosives at his Polk Street apartment left what appears to be an online suicide note. However, there is no official word on his status.

Chamberlain is 6' 3" tall, weighs 225 lbs and has blue eyes and brown hair, according to Lee. He was last seen south of San Francisco Sunday, driving a white 2008 Nissan Altima with a California or Texas license plates of either 7FQY085 or BX9M042. The FBI also provided a photo of Chamberlain.

I wonder if he was ever treated for depression? It's not too late for Ryan. I hope he turns up soon & alive.
 
I just finished reading his letter, not sure if I can link it here. He has it listed via (mac) pages.

First thing after reading this story, media headlines are NOT matching up with the tone of the letter. The FBI being involved seems really strange for a suicide letter, does it not? Ryan also hinted at someone "arriving today" that complicated things, at least his betterment, and it's what set into motion the letter and social posts.

Also, reading his FB page, his friends are trying to clear up the explosive part of this story. They are saying that FBI didn't say that he had explosives?

I am reading through his social media and apparently this explosive material is actually something that can assist in suicide?

This story is really strange, and heartbreaking.
I hope Ryan can find reinforcement from those trying to reach out to him online. He is extremely talented (and funny) according to his social networks. I hope he can make it through and safely get somewhere to get this straightened out.

Oh gosh! They have said Ryan's car has either Texas or California plates so with that in mind, it could be him. I hope not.

I saw that but I'm hoping since the latest says Ryan's atm was triggered this afternoon, that he's not in Texas.

If he was in S.F.- Haight St., he wouldn't have been able to drive to Texas in such a short period of time. It'd take longer than 4 hours, IMO.

I understand that and I'm hoping they find him from his atm being triggered in CA this afternoon. No way would it be him in Texas. Sounds like his card was used, not a sighting? Not sure yet.

Well, I just watched KPIX 6 PM news and I am confused. Whatever it was, it happened at 2 PM this afternoon. It had to do with the ATM near the bar, and it seems like he used the ATM. But, its unclear to me if someone saw him and alerted the FBI or if the FBI is somehow watching activity on his bank card and that's how they knew.

In any case, the FBI got there and surmised that he might still be in the neighborhood, maybe at a bar.
 
Also, looking on google, it looks like there is an ATM in a little nook area by a laundromat next door to the bar.
