PA - 1st Grader Brings Heroin to Class

Twenty first grade students were taken to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Tuesday after police say a six-year-old student brought eleven packs of heroin into a classroom at Commodore John Barry Elementary School at 59th and Race Streets.

Police say they were called to the scene after a first-grade teacher saw one of her pupils playing with the packets. Two of the packets had been opened, investigators say, and one had been chewed open.
No one knows where it came from, but the mom of the student who had the packets was interviewed by detectives.

    In the woods
Charges filed against the mother and her boyfriend. What a surprise!

The mother and her boyfriend were charged overnight and remained in police custody. They are identified as 32-year-old Marie Hunter and 28-year-old Christopher White, both of the 4200 block of Viola Street.
Please be aware that what I type is my opinion.

poor kid probably thought they were candy

one of the packets had been chewed open either by a kid or possibly by a pet!!!

I hope all children and pets have been tested for heroin and other drugs in their systems
