Missing Sinton man has mental disability

Sinton -

A 44-year-old Sinton man with schizophrenia went missing Friday morning, Sinton County officials said. The caregiver for 44-year-old Wade Lee Whited reported that Whited left his residence in Sinton after being left unattended for a short time.

I'm not sure what happened to the photo in post #1 but here it is again:

Wade was in the news last year with an assault against an elderly person that left his mother injured. I instantly thought assault against his mother but perhaps that is a carefully worded sentence and his mother tried to intervene. Not very clear.

Was the carer a 24/7 or a part time career. Was he supposed to be left alone?
