The family of missing Isle of Wight woman Victoria Bailey are speaking out in an effort to encourage anyone who has not yet spoken to police with information about her disappearance to come forward...

53-year-old woman Victoria was last seen at 2.18pm on June 7 in Freshwater as she was getting off the number 12 bus. Victoria is then believed to have walked towards Tennyson Trail.

From the map here, you can see Freshwater, where Victoria left the bus. And the Tennyson Trail, that ends in;

'a swift ascent to..... Brighstone Down, from where you can see the entire island, the stark Tennyson Monument and finally, the white, sea-washed pinnacles off Alum bay....'

This really isn't looking good. Why was Victoria headed there, without her phone?

No news or media appeals since 2014. Is she still missing?

Still no news since 2014 , I have messaged a few pages that posted her missing back then , so let's see if we can get an update.

Well just had a very prompt reply from the Editor of an Isle of wight website who remembered the case very well....apparently her phone was traced to a cliff edge at Tennyson Down from where it's presumed she jumped into the sea.It seems her body has never been recovered.Sad.

Oh, that's awful news. The poor lady. She must have been in such mental torment to do that. Yet who could've said so from looking at her in that last photo on the bus CCTV.
You never know what's going on in people's minds.

RIP Victoria. I'm sorry your life ended in that way.
