St. James Sheriff Willy Martin said they are "very suspicious of foul play" and are unaware of the girl having any history of running away.

Deputies are currently searching for Dorsey in the large agricultural areas in St. James, with search parties led by four-wheelers and helicopters, according to Martin.

When Martin was asked if any family members are suspect, Martin said he didn't "want to go there yet." Martin said they are following up on tips, but don't "have a lot to go off of yet."

“Someone knocked on that door and she answered that door. That’s all that was. She did not run away. Look around, there’s nowhere to go.”
Along a nearby remote dirt road in St. James is where Dorsey went missing from her family’s home. Now, it’s a waiting game, an excruciating waiting game on the home on Pecan Street.
