A Mexican man who is believed to have suffered a stroke while working in CA, and went missing for 12 years, has been rescued by a good samaritan who passed him at a bus stop.

Thaks to a lot of work, by a LOT of people, Claudio Cuajicalco Leonardo has been reunited with his overjoyed family in Mexico.

The poor soul could hardly remember a thing - except the name of the town he was born in, and that he 'wanted to go home'. It was enough for the supersleuthers in this case. Lovely story!

This is such a happy ending, zwiebel!

My mother had a stroke approximately a year and a half ago and now has memory problems. I am so happy for this man and his family!

It goes to show you there's room for hope for the missing.

I want to link this to the Shane Fell missing case -- healthy young missing in New Orleans for four years now after single vehicle accident.

Thanks for the good news for this man -- and great news for his family too.

He is only 50 years old. His dream did not eventuate. Happy he is home with his family. He was in no condition to be living the life of the homeless.JMOO
