The first degree murder trial of Bryan W. Hulsey is scheduled to begin on May 12, 2014 in the shooting death of Glendale police officer Anthony Holly (according to the Maricopa County Superior Court Minute Entry). The death penalty is being sought, and Juan Martinez is prosecuting the case.

Here is an update as of the court hearing held June 20, 2013 in the capital murder case in the Feb. 19 2007 murder of Glendale Police Officer and Peoria resident Anthony Holly, who was 24 years old at the time. The defendant is Bryan Wayne Hulsey.

This week 3 trial days, next week 4 and the week after 2 followed by almost 3 weeks off.

Unseen "ears" recorded the sound of each bullet fired during the February 2007 shootout that left Glendale police Officer Anthony Holly dead and resulted in the ongoing capital murder trial of Bryan Wayne Hulsey.

Now, Hulsey's defense attorneys hope to use the information gathered by those ears to prove the bullet that killed Holly wasn't fired by Hulsey, according to court documents.

I am sure that the Prosecutor has the results of the new analysis, so this won't be surprising testimony, imo. Also, and I am not saying this is what happened, even if it wasn't Hulsey's shot that killed Officer Holly, no one would have been shooting if he had not started it. So, still guilty, imo.

I think the local camera crews are out hunting monsoon dust storms, now recently known as "haboobs". Makes it more "palatable" to the "transplants, it's more "cultured" to say "I have to clean out the pool because of the last haboob that blew through here" than "Those damn dust storms put an inch of guck in the bottom of the pool."
It's all about "Real Estate"!!!!

You'd think after all these days without the trial going on,it could have been easily sorted. But I guess we will just have to wait

Over in my neck of the woods, we call them monsoons, but they come with rain. We LOVE the monsoons!
