Wheetley says the family last saw Steven on June 30th. He and a friend went to North Little Rock to drop off some copper recycling but never returned home with his father's 1999 Jimmy SUV...

On Thursday deputies found Roach's SUV abandoned next to a community of homes off Oak Valley Drive in Mabelvale. Deputies searched the wooded areas behind the homes for hours, but found no traces of Roach...

Roach's family says he has a mental disability. He was last seen wearing an Arkansas Razorbacks shirt and hat.

The sport utility vehicle was found in a wooded area outside Lonoke County, near White Oak Pond Drive in Mabelvale, Saline County sheriff’s office spokesman Lt. Scottie Courtney said. Courtney said the SUV appeared stuck when they found it.

Stanley said Roach's whereabouts are still “up in the air,” but Roach’s family said he has a disability and the mental capacity of a 14-year-old.

Roach is 5-foot-7 and 186 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red Arkansas Razorbacks T-shirt and dark pants. He also has a scar on his left wrist.

Investigators say he was last seen at Reeve’s Recycling in North Little Rock. He was allegedly dropping off copper he had salvaged with his father, J.C’s girlfriend, Brandy Smith, 35 of North Little Rock.

“They called JC and they said they had made $108, so no worries at this time,” said Patty Wheetley, Roach’s aunt. “Next day JC calls me – ‘Brandy’s got the truck, she ain’t called, she ain’t come back.”

Wheetley said Roach’s father had been told by Smith that she had given him the car to take home after being at the recycling facility. Roach’s aunt believes that to be a lie since Roach is mentally disabled.

“He has the mind of a ten year-old,” commented Wheetley.

Now Wheetley is concerned for her nephew’s safety. She believes Smith to have a violent history.

“That’s his daddy’s truck,” said Wheetley. “They would have to have whooped him, they would have had to hurt him to get that truck away from Steven.”

And now having heard that the vehicle Roach was last seen in was abandoned without him in it, Wheetley and her family fear for the worst.

“I’m very nervous, because I just lost my daughter too,” said Wheetley.

I know we can't sleuth people not named as POI, but I think I'm allowed to say that reading about a little about who he was last seen with, I am VERY concerned for him also :(

There are a lot of questions remaining.
1. One question being if Brandy was with him on his travel to return the truck to his father?
2. Was the location of the truck found on route to his fathers?
3. Was any sign that foul play or someone other than Brandy or Steven had drove the truck to where it was found stuck

I can't find any MSM confirmation but it seems that his remains have been found.
