Sadie Bell, 58, is out on bond after admitting she shot the man she had a long-term affair with after they had sex at her Southfield apartment.

Bell wasn't happy with the outcome and accused the man of cheating on her. She punched him, he slapped her and then she shot him. He was hospitalized for five months...

Southfield — He was low on ammo. She wasn’t.

A Southfield woman convicted in April of shooting her married lover because he didn’t ejaculate enough after coitus has been released from jail pending an appeal of her 10 year sentence.

According to the Oakland County Jail, Sadie Bell was released on Thursday after posting a $10,000 cash/surety bond pending an appeal of her sentence.

Bell, 58, was sentenced on June 26 after being convicted of intent to do great bodily harm, plus felony firearm, after she wounded Edward Lee, her married boyfriend of 15 years...

A Southfield woman convicted of shooting her long-time lover in the stomach after a disappointing sexual encounter has been released from jail while appealing the verdict.

Sadie Bell, 58, was convicted in Oakland County Circuit Court of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder as well as a felony firearms charge in mid-April. She is expected to appeal and was granted a $10,000 cash or surety bond by Judge Phyllis McMillen Wednesday, July 16, according to an online review of court records.

An online search of inmate records shows Bell was released from Oakland County Jail Thursday, July 17...
