GUILTY MD - Paul Hurst & Carey Edwards for attempted murder, Hebron, 3 Aug 2014

America’s sweethearts of horrorcore music, the Insane Clown Posse (ICP), are once again under the media spotlight, after two Maryland fans (or “Juggalos&#8221 were arrested for attempted murder, after they allegedly tried to carve off their roommate’s ICP tattoo because he hadn’t “earned it.”

Victim Zachary Swanson was beaten severely before Paul Martin Hurst and Carey Lee Edwards tried to cut out the offending tattoo from Swanson’s arm, CBS Detroit reports. Dissatisfied with their results, they allegedly then drenched Swanson’s arm with flammable liquid and lit it on fire.

After being rushed to a Baltimore hospital’s burn unit, Swanson's arm had to be amputated below the elbow, CBS reports.

A man accused of beating his roommate and trying to cut and burn a tattoo off of his arm, will not face trial until April.

A Wicomico County Circuit judge made a decision today to push the date for Paul Hurst, 33, from January 1st to April 7th.

Co-defendant Cary Edwards was recently sentenced to 30 years of active time with the remainder of a life sentence suspended, along with five years of supervised probation...

Among 31-year-old victim Zach Swanson's injuries were cuts and bruises, burns, internal bleeding, fractured ribs and a lacerated spleen and liver, Wicomico County State's Attorney Matt Maciarello said at Hurst's plea hearing in March. He also had to have an arm amputation, Maciarello said.
