Twenty-five-year-old Christopher Michael Rossing has not been seen or heard from since last Friday.

It's believed he left work in Maple Plain that day and was expected to meet up with friends that night in Norwood Young America, but didn't show up. It's believed he may have been in the Howard Lake area sometime on Friday night after leaving work.

He was last seen outside a local bar in Howard Lake. Friends say he had spent the evening drinking there with several people.

His family filed a missing person report on Tuesday, and his vehicle was found later that day. The sheriff’s office also searched Thursday in the area with ATVs and mounted police but did not find anything.

I don't even want to say it but I think it's very likely he'll be found in the Lake...

A 25-year-old Annandale, Minn. man has been missing since Aug. 22, and while police aren't releasing many details, family members worry that foul play may be involved, so on Saturday, they did what they've done for the last several days -- they went looking for him.

People have searched for Christopher Rossing by ATV, by boat, and by foot 9 days after he went alone into Troubles Restaurant and Bar in Howard Lake and hasn't been seen since.

After telling someone to stop unwanted advances toward a woman, Rossing left Troubles. He used his ATM card down the road at the American Legion. He then came back to Troubles, but it was closed. His car was found nearby with the windows down and keys inside.

After telling someone to stop unwanted advances toward a woman, Rossing left Troubles.

As per a family friend posted on SM: LE interviewed the person who CR told to stop harassing a woman at the bar. No other info on that angle at this time.

Volunteers canvassed roadsides and parks in the Howard Lake area Saturday, hoping to find Christopher Rossing — or clues to his disappearance...

Saturday’s effort was not an official search but rather conducted by family and Minnesota United, a nonprofit organization that helps to bring the missing back to their families.

The sheriff’s office has searched with ATVs and police officers on horseback. Searchers have included canoeists on the Crow River and hundreds of volunteers.

According to his cousin, Kimberly Imker, his phone is believed to have been broken that night, so there have been no calls, texts... no sign of the Wright County man at all.

Imker also said it was unusual for Rossing to go out in Howard Lake when he usually met friends in other nearby towns instead after working his landscaping job in Maple Plain. She said the night he disappeared, "He was seen by many people but he wasn't hanging out with any close friends or family. It was all acquaintances, people who didn't know Christopher."

The Wright County sheriff's office has confirmed the arrests of two people in connection with the Christopher Rossing missing person case. Rossing, 25, has been missing since Friday, Aug. 22.

On Wednesday, deputies arrested 28-year-old Robert Nuttall of Hutchinson, Minn. for kidnapping. On Friday, deputies arrested 32-year-old Gwen Butcher of Hutchinson, on felony obstruction charges in connection with Rossing's disappearance.

Hagerty says witnesses report that the suspect and Rossing were involved in a fight along the side of Highway 12 early the morning Rossing disappeared...

Witnesses also indicate that a full sized SUV may be involved in the case.

Rossing and Nuttall were at the American Legion and flirting for the attention of the same woman, creating friction between the two. Nuttall left when Butcher arrived. Rossing then went to Troubles Bar, and Nuttall and Butcher soon showed up.

Nuttall left Troubles and started walking along Hwy. 12, and Butcher got in her SUV in pursuit of him. Rossing ran to catch up with Nuttall. When Rossing and Nuttall met up, Rossing started calling Butcher names. That angered Nuttall, who then repeatedly punched Rossing in the face. The SUV left the scene with all three in the vehicle, Rossing snoring and not moving the entire time.

Once home, Nuttall ordered Butcher to bed. Later that night, Nuttall also went to bed.

Drinking, flirting and jealousy preceded the suspected beating and kidnapping of a 25-year-old Wright County man whose whereabouts remain a mystery three weeks later, according to felony charges against a Hutchinson couple...

Prosecutor Brian Lutes said Sunday that “the circumstances of this case permitted us to charge the kidnapping” without having yet located Rossing...

Questioned Wednesday by law enforcement, Nuttall recounted the fight along the highway and driving Rossing to Hutchinson. However, he changed the location of where he dropped off Rossing “multiple times,” the complaint read. A search of the SUV showed that it appeared “efforts had been made to clean the interior of the vehicle.”

This part of the article above is alarming to me: The SUV left the scene with all three in the vehicle, Rossing snoring and not moving the entire time.

Beaten and unconscious, and no one tried to get him help. Ugh. MOO this is not going to end well :(

Officials say 25-year-old Christopher Rossing has not been seen or heard from since Friday, Aug. 22. On Wednesday, Sept. 10, deputies arrested 28-year-old Robert Otis Nuttall of Hutchinson on kidnapping charges. Thirty-two-year-old Gwen Maria Butcher of Hutchinson was then arrested Friday, Sept. 12, on felony obstruction charges. Both were connected to Rossing’s disappearance, officials say:

On Monday, Rossing’s friends gathered outside Trouble’s Bar to do yet another search. In addition to the McLeod County Sheriff’s mounted posse that has been combing fields and ditches, the friends are pleading with hunters and farmers to report anything that looks out of place.

“As they (farmers) are taking their fields down and doing things they need to do, if they keep aware and find an article of clothing, report it to the Wright County Sheriff,” Josh Hagebusch said...

Nuttall’s girlfriend, Butcher, pulled up alongside the two driving a Ford Expedition. It appears Nuttall placed the injured Rossing in the backseat. Armed with a search warrant, the vehicle was impounded and investigators discovered Rossing’s blood on the seat. A search of Nuttall’s cell phone revealed internet searches that were looking for help about how to remove or replace seats in a Ford Expedition.
