Car chase ends in police pursuit of wheelchair in their own parking lot
Reports of an armed robbery at a KMart saw Chula Vista police chasing after a suspect in a van. The car chase even required a San Diego PD helicopter and road spikes.
When the chase finally did end - strangely, in the parking lot of San Diego PD headquarters - the suspect exited the van in a wheelchair, and again refused to follow commands. However, that vehicle proved easier to stop than the van and he was eventually arrested without 'further incident.'
