"He was released on a one-day permit in April 2014 and never returned. He was spotted by Halton Regional Police on Tuesday in Oakville.

Police say Maiorano was a passenger in a car, and fled on foot when he saw police.

He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with the word "Facebook" in white lettering on the front. He is considered armed and dangerous. Police say Maiorano has ties to the Greater Toronto Area."
