FL - Angelia Mangum, 19, & Tjhisha Ball, 18, murdered, Jacksonville, 18 Sept 2014

According to JSO, witnesses were driving along Sisson Drive, near Main Street and Clarke Road, when they spotted two female bodies on the side of the road and immediately called 911.

Action News Reporter Jessie McDonough arrived to the scene to find the two women nude, lying one on top of another...

JSO said in a news conference that the women appeared to be young. Officers are not saying if the two women were found with stab wounds or gunshot wounds. The Medical Examiner is at the scene working to find the cause of death.

Waters says the women are believed to be in their late teens or early 20s. No identification was found on the bodies.

Waters said victims appeared to be black females in their late teens to early 20s. While they don't yet know the cause of death, homicide detectives suspect foul play.

"They were in an area where they would have been noticed so I think it was fairly recently since they'd been left there," said Waters.

"Right now we're just processing... photographing, looking for any evidence that we can find and we're going to take it slow and very steady. We made contact with the medical examiners office and they'll come out and take the bodies and do autopsies and make determinations from there," said Waters.

JSO have not released any information on possible suspects at this time.

Police identified the victims as Angelia Mangum, 19, and Tjhisha Ball, 18...

These were the third and fourth women to have been killed in Jacksonville within the last week and a half. On Sept. 8, 50-year-old Michelle Allen was found shot to death in a pickup truck that crashed into a tree in the New Town area. And on Sunday morning, 25-year-old Jessica Wolford was found shot to death behind a Northside church. Neither of their killers have been caught.

One of the witnesses told First Coast News she found the women naked and hogtied together, surrounded by a pool of blood in the grass. Authorities said they could not confirm or deny these details because of the ongoing investigation into their deaths.

Ball's family says the teens had dropped out of high school and headed to Jacksonville earlier this year. Her mom knew that the young women had been working as strippers, and worried for their safety...

The family tells 10 News that Ball's friend, Angie Magnum, grew up in the foster care system.

There is a message on her "sister's" Facebook page that says she called the last number that Mangum called from and a man answered and hung up.

I saw this in the Tampa Bay Times yesterday. So sad and so nauseating; I cannot imagine how depraved you have to be to do something like that to two young women. I hope cops follow up with that unknown male the sister called – how did she know that was the last number her sister called? Does she have the cellphone? The state of the bodies that were found, at least from the information that we have, sounds like this wasn't someone's first time. It also sounds likes the un-sub was in a hurry to dispose of their bodies, or maybe interrupted; either that, or they are just inhuman scum who thinks they can just toss human beings like garbage :furious: I hope they find this monster and get these families justice.
