They say that your new boyfriend or girlfriend's ex can always be a problem, but Ronald Attie probably didn't expect his run-in with Anthony Dippolito to end up how it did. According to police, a Wednesday night confrontation between the two men ended in a bloody homicide...
According to a release from the Broward Sheriff's Office, on Wednesday night, 56-year-old Dippolito had been spying on his ex at her apartment through a window. Twice, the ex and Attie caught Dippolito, sparking verbal confrontations at the apartment in the 3200 block of NE 19th Avenue in Oakland Park. Then, around 2 a.m., Dippolito, again bothered the couple, this time banging on the front door. Attie answered the door, and Dippolito barged inside.
Attie was able to convince Dippolito out of the residence, according to BSO. But then Attie followed the intruder out into the walkway. The confrontation turned violent, and "Dippolito struck the victim in the head and face multiple times until he was limp and unresponsive"... The 52-year-old's neck had been broken.

Deputies said Dippolito was captured a few blocks away. His keys were found next to the victims body...
Dippolito faces a second-degree murder charge for the death.
