Over the years searchers on horseback combed the woods, fields, and crime scene where Rosie Courdle Gaskins was found shot to death in her car March 7, 2010.
Her heartbroken mother Mattie Courdle told us in 2011 about the last time she saw her daughter. "I remember kissing her on the forehead and saying 'I got to go to work' and I said 'Have fun mud bogging and see you tonight,' and I never got to see her again"...
About 75 searchers knocked on 500 doors, interviewed folks and talked to motorists on the highways to bring awareness to the case. They covered the two square mile town of Willacoochee like a blanket. That includes investigators, firefighters, emergency management agencies, state troopers, and GBI agents.
