The Rules

Guys, the boyfriend has not been named a suspect or a person of interest, so please don't sleuth him or post his social media.

Also, at this point he is considered a victim and we are victim friendly place, please post accordingly.

Victim Friendly

Websleuths is a victim friendly forum. Attacking or bashing a victim is not allowed. Discussing victim behavior, good or bad is fine, but do so in a civil and constructive way and ONLY IF IT IS RELEVANT TO THE CASE. Additionally, sleuthing family members or others that are not suspect is not allowed. Don't make random accusations or post personal information (even if it is public) like parking tickets, address, or first and last names of all their relatives and their neighbors. Also, never "bash" or attack them, or accuse them of involvement. However that does not mean that family members or others cannot come into discussion as the facts and issues of the case are discussed.

http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?65798-Etiquette-amp-Information

Please leave rumors out of the discussion as they tend to grow legs.

Thank you all and welcome all new members!

Facebook

Social Networks

Regarding Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and other social networking or blog websites: Links may be used to direct posters to view something on a social networking page. But postings on social networking sites are not considered fact; they are rumor. Copying and pasting, or taking screen caps, directly from these pages is not allowed. Paraphrasing is okay. (Exception: If the Twitter or Facebook post belongs to a verified news station, it may be copied. But a link should still be provided.)

Also, social networking pages may only be linked if they are directly related to a case, i.e. the victim or suspect. We don't want to post to someone's mother, brother, employer, milkman, or postal carrier just because they know the main player. We also NEVER link to minor's pages (unless they are the victim). And be sure that the page actually belongs to the person being discussed. Do not link to someone if you are not 100% sure it is the correct person. And if a social networking is set to private and you get in the back way, you may not post what you find. Private means private!

Organized Efforts- Email Campaigns-Boycotts-Petitions:

Obviously members are free to take up any and all causes that are important to them in an effort to bring about change. But using Websleuths as a platform to promote organized efforts such as email campaigns, boycotts, letter writing, etc. are strictly forbidden without the consent of the forum owners. If you have written a letter or taken any action in support of a cause, please refrain from posting about it. Support of a particular cause must be approved by the owners prior to posting links or information regarding any such effort. Causes can be questionable in nature, even though they appear to be honorable on the surface. As it relates to using WS as a platform for promotion, the owners investigate the nature and source of such campaigns and make their own decisions as to the legitimacy of each cause. Please do not suggest, directly or indirectly, that members support any type of organized effort without getting approval from forum owners first.

Discussing Donations, Fundraising etc. is not allowed without the permission of the owners.

Regarding similar cases and the behavior/sharing of information from LE and family, the first WS case I actively engaged in was for Dylan Redwine. LE's behavior was similar, but because I was not local to that case, I chalked it up to a the limitations of a smaller police force in the distant, remote, and exotic land of Colorado.

The family's behavior/sharing of information was quite different. Not even going to address the dad's role-- too many cats in that bag. But the mom (and DR's brother) were very sincere and desperate and forthcoming. My chest aches thinking about the great lengths that the mom went through to try to find her son, and all the search groups and specialists that were called in, and that gut-wrenching episode (both episodes, actually) of Dr. Phil.

If we had to encapsulate the concept of desperation for future generations, I think the DR's mom's behavior would be an excellent representation.

Who is running the new FB page? Wonder if this one will be more open to people posting things other than support?

I will be subscribing to this thread #7 ... yesterday in the afternoon sometime ... it seems as if it has just snowed in Texas.
Anybody else getting ready for the cold temps??

So, it seems there were two pages running concurrently even before the public page, because at one point several days ago-- maybe even last week-- I went to check in on one and it said I wasn't a member. I thought they'd kicked me out! It had CM's photos across the banner-- it looked like the one I'd been following... Then I noticed it only had 230 members, which was off because I'd noticed that the other one had been at 1,199 at last check. ( I always notice the 99's in situations!)

I checked my groups, and it turns out I was a member of the other one (which was by then up to 1,227 members, yay!)

When I went back to check that one last night, I was looking for the Allen vs OK Chili's thing, still hoping to see if it was the McDermott one in Allen. The ad/poster/photo was still up (and it is the McDermott location, if you're local and you plan to go support it!)

All so peculiar. Not criticizing, not condemning, here. It just seems amiss.

My understanding from many that have tried to interact with regards to help, suggestions, ideas have been shut out and scolded.
Therefore if that is the position whoever is in charge , my opinion then would be is I feel sad and sorry that interaction is seemingly not welcome.

Yes they are public record and are located In previous threads

I mean the actual 911 recordings. If the reports were made using 911, then who is the caller in each of those calls? Did they identify themselves?

I never saw mention of 911 recordings in regards to the missing persons reports in the previous 6 threads, and I've tried to read every post
(might have missed a few).

One more thing--
I unsubscribed.

As many other WS members (some of whom I consider to be WS varsity/legends) have already declared, I'm stepping back from this case.

I'm uncomfortable with all the mixed-messages we're receiving from a variety of sources, and the undercurrent of apathy I'm spidey-sensing from parties unnamed.

My prayers are for Christina, resolution, and the PPD, whose job seems infinitely difficult with the swirl of inconsistencies that have driven us bonkers.

I may pop by to see if there are updates, but much like TES, I don't plan to return until there are credible leads.

Here are my parting thoughts before I sign off--
Please choose your words and thoughts carefully.
WS is an excellent crowd-sourcing tool for generating ideas to help bring missing people home and in generating awareness, and it serves an important role in our society. I'm grateful for it, and I believe in the members' integrity and sincere desire to bring about justice.

I say this with utmost love and respect-- as a legal investigator, I cringe when several theories or names/players start to rapidly gain member-momentum, especially if the theories emerge with equal strength simultaneously. I worry that it could be a playground for a defense attorney's team of strategists when it comes time to create reasonable doubt.

What are alternatives that could have happened?
What are reasonable people likely to agree could have happened?

I'm thankful for the moderators, who remind us of the rules and enforce them when necessary, because I think a big part of their role is in guarding against what I just described-- and it can't be an easy task!

Y'all are smart and caring and tenacious, and I'm proud of you.
Keep on keepin' on.

Let me clarify.. were you asking about an actual electronic phone conversation vs actual recorded missing person report??
Actually it has not been clarified from LE or Media if the callers used specific 911 system, flagged an officer down, used direct phone number or via email or what

That is a thought now...how exactly was the report taken??? and by what method???

Exactly. If the missing persons reports were made by dialing 911, then there is a voice recording of that call. Those calls are public record.

Hi Everyone,
I have not read through all the threads, but I intend to.
So please forgive me if this question has been asked & answered.
Have the police done any forensics on any of the cars that left the garage that night
or the b/f's car?Have any cars been impounded?

I don't believe any forensics have been done on any vehicles. The police would need probable cause and/or a search warrant to do so. At this point there is no evidence, at least that's been released to the public, that a crime has occurred.

With that said ..

I am not convinced that there is any foul play.

I am not convinced that the only purported last seen evidence is that of the backview of 2 individuals casually walking thru an illuminated passageway.

LE,TES,Media and SM is only reporting a Mysterious Disappearance.

There is not any credible evidence pointing to any crime or foul play.

LE can not identify vehicles, suspects, persons of interest nor explain or ponder if she even left the garage or how.

There is not any credible timeline specifics ..

Until then there is not much more to go on except the questionable motives, people and events that surround the one that has no trace.

Bringing this forward in case we want/I want to keep adding to what we know/think we know

Can we go through what we do know? I mean I know we could say almost all of it is hearsay, but from what has been put out so far by LE or msm?

If we can go chronologically, we could copy and paste easier and create one list... maybe fact in bold, unsure in reg font??? I'll begin...

CM was at work Friday, 30 Aug (we don't know hours but this should be easily proven so we'll call it fact)
Boss says CM was crying at work because she found out that bf was cheating
CM went to Shops of Legacy that evening for a girl's night out
Her Toyota Celica was( later found) parked on the 1st level NE corner of the parking garage behind Dunkin Donuts
She was seen by witness to be walking through the parking garage toward Henry's just after 11pm
She was seen by witness to be wearing a flowy, colorful kimono top
She was seen by witness to have entered Henry's with two girlfriends
CM went to get something to eat after leaving Henry's
CM went to an apartment at 5700 Scruggs Way
According to dad's phone records the last 15 calls were to bf
A text was sent to bf phone from the phone of CM at 3:36 "I can't find the keys to house" ----is that what it said?
Time?? A video from camera 13 in the parking garage shows what appears to be CM and an unnamed male hs friend walking just inside the garage
The released video ends at 3:57 am, with the two still walking side by side
A text was sent to bf from the phone of CM at 3:58 am "Can you please leave the front door unlocked?" ----exact words, I need to check
Parents file missing person's report 2 Sept after boss contacts CM's friend about her missing work and friend contacts mother
On 3 Sept Bf (logged into CM's page) posts on her page asking for friends to help give info/find CM
